Departing from Mývatn in summertime and from Akureyri in wintertime, we fly over the beautiful highlands to the area where the current volcanic eruption is taking place. And from the north the vast Ódáðahraun and Askja. 

Expect to see the newly formed lava field estimated to be approximately eight square Kilometers at the moment, Dyngjujökull glacier and the majestic power of the eruption itself!
