1. About us

These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases and enquiries made through landmannalaugartours.com, operated by Scandinavian Travel Services ehf (SSN: 680513-1550), Laugavegur 5, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland ("we", "us", "our").

2. Bookings and payment

All bookings are processed through our authorised partner TourDesk. A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and you have received a confirmation email. Prices are quoted in Icelandic Króna (ISK) unless otherwise stated. We accept major credit and debit cards.

3. Cancellation and refund policy

• More than 24 hours before departure: Full refund.
• Less than 24 hours before departure: Non-refundable.
• No-show: Non-refundable.
• Cancellation by us: Full refund or free reschedule if we cancel due to weather or road conditions.

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.

4. Tour operation and changes

We reserve the right to modify itineraries, departure times, or routes where necessary for safety or weather. F-roads to Landmannalaugar are subject to seasonal closure by the Icelandic Road Administration; tours operate only when officially open and conditions are safe.

5. Participant requirements

Participants must be in reasonable physical health suitable for the chosen activity. Minimum age requirements are stated on individual tour pages. Inform us of any medical conditions or special needs at the time of booking.

6. Health, safety and liability

Outdoor adventure activities carry inherent risks. You agree to follow guide instructions at all times. We are not liable for injuries arising from failure to comply with instructions or from inherent activity risks. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Our liability is limited to the price paid for the tour.

7. Personal property

We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property during tours.

8. Conduct and environment

We reserve the right to exclude any participant who poses a risk to others, staff, or the natural environment. All participants must follow Leave No Trace principles. Damage to vehicles, equipment, or natural sites will be charged to the responsible individual.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website is the property of Scandinavian Travel Services ehf or its licensors. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Icelandic law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Reykjavík District Court.
