Eyjafjallajökull Winter Tour

Beautiful nature reserve - Eyjafjallajökull is an incredible spot that has to be visited while visiting Iceland. You will be able to see also Mýrdalsjökull and Tindfjallajökull glaciers. 

 

Duration: 9 hours. Departure at 8:30 am.

What's included: Driving tour guide, 4X4 modified truck for winter conditions.

You need to bring: Warm clothing and shoes for light hiking.

Departure from Reykjavik. We will pick you up from your Hotel or address.

This tour offers amazing hiking possibilities and a bit of extreme rides over glacial rivers. You will be able to experience this amazing adventure in a 4x4 super jeep.

 

During the trip we foreseen to admire the view over Þórsmörk, Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the highlands. There is nothing like it!

 You will do the hike up to Gígjökull (Eyjafjallajökull) where you will be able to see the resulf of the eruption tht took place in 2010.

 

One of the stop will be taken in Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you will be able to observe the power of the nature.

 

We offer an additional point of 1 hour of Snowmobiling for those who wish to experience unforgettable adventure in Icelandic Highlands. There is nothing better than taking a deep breath of the pure glacial air!
